The Cruise Line named as British Travel Awards Finalist in ‘Best Cruise Holiday Retailer’ category
The Cruise Line, one of the first UK cruise specialists and a leading agent for a number of luxury operators has been shortlisted as a finalist in the British Travel Awards.
The Cruise Line beat off significant competition from major cruise retailers to reach “finalist” status in the ‘Best Cruise Holiday Retailer’ category, which comes towards the end of the best year’s sales in the company’s 21 year history.
Jos Dewing, Managing Director, The Cruise Line said “With over 1.2 million votes cast this year, the BTA’s are now the largest consumer voted awards in the UK for any industry. On that basis it’s very exciting that we have been nominated and made the finals. Whatever happens next we’ve already been recognized at the highest level in the industry and by the consumer too, which makes it even better. We’ve worked hard this year to focus on the customer, a fact endorsed by our 100% Feefo satisfaction scores.”
Robin Maclear, Chairman, The Cruise Line added “We are delighted that our expertise and service has been recognized at this level by the consumer. As a small and independent cruise specialist, it is exciting to be regarded among the best retailers in the country and we are extremely grateful to our luxury cruise partners for their ongoing support as our business grows.”
The British Travel Awards 2014 will recognise 141 companies across various categories and is now in its 7th year of highlighting the best the travel industry has to offer.
