Founded in 1986, Celestyal Cruises is a leading operator of cruises in the Eastern Mediterranean and Greek Isles.

Sailings aboard a fleet of two mid-size cruise ships – Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Olympia– explore the Eastern Mediterranean in-depth and offer itineraries featuring an excellent combination of marquee ports and hidden gems. One day, you could be exploring Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, and the next, discovering the stunning natural beauty of Volos.

On board a Celestyal Cruises ship, you can look forward to an intimate experience enhanced by Celestyal’s award-winning Greek hospitality. Offering more space than similar-sized cruise ships, Celestyal boasts a homely atmosphere, exceptional dining venues and an onboard activity programme that includes everything from yoga classes to circus performances.

For exploring ashore, Celestyal Cruises offers an all-encompassing range of shore excursions designed to showcase the history, culture and natural beauty of every port you visit. From archaeological sites such as Ephesus and the pyramids of Giza to the trips through mountain ranges aboard a 19th-century train and wine-tasting in Limassol, there are endless opportunities for discovery.

Itineraries & Destinations

The majority of Celestyal Cruises’ itineraries depart from the port of Lavrion, a small and upcoming fishing village located just ten miles from Athens. The voyages are available to book on a 3, 4 or 7-night basis and can be combined should you wish to enjoy an extended cruise experience. The three and 4-night sailings are ideal if you want to enjoy a cruise as part of a more extended land-based holiday and visit a mixture of ports throughout the Greek Isles, with selected sailings including calls at Rhodes, Syros, and Patmos.

The 7-night voyages spend longer exploring the different regions of the Eastern Mediterranean. You can choose to enjoy a comprehensive cruise of the Greek Islands, including overnight port stays in Mykonos and Santorini, or head further afield to Turkey and the Holy Lands.
