Enjoy an unforgettable journey aboard one of the world’s largest tall ships with Star Clippers!

Star Clippers has been delighting guests with its unique take on cruising since the late 1980s. It combines luxurious onboard comforts with destination-led itineraries and offers small-ship cruise experiences aboard a trio of fully rigged, four—and five-masted sailing vessels.

Tall-ship cruising with Star Clippers.

The Star Clippers’ fleet offers guests a choice of three striking tall ships, sisters Star Clipper and Star Flyer and the larger, 225-guest capacity Royal Clipper. So rest assured, if you love the thought of exploring under sails, then you will love Star Clippers!

Life on a Star Clippers ship is laid-back and informal. The accommodation is well-appointed and comfortable, while the dining options cater to various palates and tastes. Where public spaces are concerned, every ship offers a lounge area, a library and a bar.

You will also find Star Clippers ideally suited to lazy days at sea. All three ships boast ample deck space, so you can enjoy the feeling of tall-ship sailing alongside your fellow travellers or choose to find a secluded spot for some quiet time with a good book.

For the more actively minded, those wishing to participate in the unfurling of sails or try their hand at scaling the rigging are more than welcome to do so. We highly recommend this as nothing compares to the glorious views proffered from the crow’s nest of an authentic tall ship.

Star Clippers 2025/2026 Cruises

In 2025, Star Clippers will offer cruises to many of the world’s finest destinations, providing opportunities to explore Europe, the Caribbean, and Central America under sail. New additions for 2025 include exciting new ports of call in the Mediterranean, with Star Clippers visiting destinations such as Saint-Raphaël and the Italian town of Otranto for the first time. The operator has also expanded its Costa Rica programme, with select fly-cruise experiences in winter 2025 featuring 5-night pre-cruise stays at Punta Islita, a Blue Zone eco-resort in a coastal hillside paradise.

Looking ahead to 2026, Star Clippers will introduce a new collection of sailings to the Southern Caribbean, with Star Clipper based in Grenada throughout February and March. These itineraries offer the chance to discover some of the region’s lesser-visited islands, including English Bay on Tobago and Saint-Pierre on Martinique. Royal Clipper and Star Flyer will join Star Clipper in the Caribbean at the start of 2026 before offering transatlantic cruises to Europe to coincide with the beginning of the Mediterranean season in spring.
