Explora Journeys Ships
Explora Journeys ships elegantly combine European-style design and modern technology to breathtaking effect. Every element of the ship’s layout is considered; you’ll have warmth and comfort for those moments when peace and relaxation are needed, and a range of activities and facilities available when you’re looking for a way to pass the time. As a result, it’s almost simplistic to categorise the vessels as ‘cruise ships’. Instead, Explore Journeys’ ships have more in common with luxury hotels, making Explora Journeys the perfect choice if you’re looking for an alternative to traditional resort-based holidays.
Explora Journeys’ flagship vessel, Explora I, debuted in the summer of 2023 (read our review) and will be followed in 2024 by a second ship, Explora II. The ships are identical and offer 461 ocean-facing suites, nine dining venues and best-in-class wellness facilities.
Explora Journeys Itineraries 2024 / 2025
Explora Journeys’ 2024 cruise collection features visits to 40 countries and over 130 ports of call. The available itineraries range from 6 to 44 nights, offering many of the best destinations throughout the Mediterranean, the Americas, and the Pacific Islands. Explora II will join the fleet for its maiden season in the Mediterranean in August, commencing with an inaugural voyage from Barcelona to Rome. The ship will spend autumn in Europe before heading to the Caribbean for the winter.
In 2025, a new collection will take guests to exciting destinations throughout North and South America, the Caribbean, and on a unique transatlantic crossing. Additionally, for the first time, Explora Journeys will sail into the Amazon for an up-close encounter with the Brazilian rainforest. The 28-night Grand Journey to Amazonia and the 32-night Grand Transatlantic Odyssey in the Atlantic allow you to discover unforgettable destinations as you travel through the Caribbean and the Amazon.
