Explora Journeys has announced the delivery of its flagship vessel, Explora I.
The ship has been under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy since June 2021 and was signed over at a special event attended by Gianluigi Aponte, the Founder and Chairman of Explora Journeys’ parent brand, MSC, along with representatives from Fincantieri.
Explora Journeys CEO Michael Ungerer also attended, commenting how the traditional maritime moment marked a new chapter for the new luxury cruise operator.

After completing its inaugural journey, the ship will continue to operate a series of cruises in Northern Europe and subsequently cross the Atlantic in the autumn to offer a collection of captivating Canada & New England itineraries.
