What are the reviews and passenger experiences on the Oceania Vista?
Oceania Vista carries around 1,200 guests across 613 staterooms, so she feels intimate for a modern ship. Our team has seen her up close, and here is what each of us thought:

- Rashmi, Content and Marketing Executive: I toured Vista in Southampton and spent a day onboard. Everything felt chic. She felt luxurious and elegant without going over the top, so she had a modest, welcoming feel. Even better, the outdoor space felt generous and never crowded.
- Lee, Director of Digital & Data: Lee toured Vista in Southampton. He loved the number of restaurants and the library’s aesthetic. The Terrace Café also looked amazing to him.
- Dave, Managing & Marketing Director: Dave sailed on Vista’s inaugural voyage. He loved his suite, which felt very spacious, with great amenities and a big balcony.
- Debbie, Marketing Manager: Debbie sailed on a pre-inaugural voyage and loved it. She praised the huge choice of restaurants, the amazing cocktails and the roomy pool area.

Oceania Vista dining: 12 restaurants and plenty of wow
Dining stole the show for me. Vista has 12 dining venues, so you never run short of choice. On my visit, Toscana became my favourite, and the food arrives on Versace plates!
I also dined in the main dining room, and I have never seen one so boujee. It looked, felt and tasted like a speciality restaurant, and the food was delicious. I started with a lobster chowder, and honestly, it was the best I have had at sea. The service felt immaculate too.
However, you may wonder what your fare covers. Our guide to Oceania’s drinks packages breaks it down.
Oceania Vista cabins and suites
The suites impressed me just as much as the restaurants. I saw them on our ship tour, and they felt wonderfully spacious. Dave agrees. He loved how much space he had, and even the balcony felt big and roomy.

Here is what the staterooms offer:
- Private verandas: Every stateroom and suite has one, or a French veranda in entry-level grades.
- Rainforest showers: The oversized showers feel like a real treat.
- Bvlgari amenities: Upscale bath products come as standard.
- Butler service and Executive Lounge: Higher suite tiers add a butler and keycard access to a private Executive Lounge.

What is the Oceania Vista Concierge Lounge like?
Debbie stayed at Concierge Level, and she enjoyed having the extra facilities to use. According to our guide, Concierge Level guests get priority reservations at speciality restaurants, unlimited access to the Spa Terrace, and a dedicated Concierge Lounge. Debbie could not use the spa on her voyage. However, she says the spa area looked amazing.
Oceania Allura is Vista’s sister ship, and Dave stayed in the Concierge Level Veranda stateroom. Because the two ships are so closely related, his experience gives you a good idea of what to expect on Vista. He enjoyed the complimentary laundry and the Concierge Lounge access. Read his full thoughts in our Oceania Allura review.

Oceania Vista entertainment and enrichment
Vista keeps you busy, yet she never feels over the top. The Vista Lounge stages performances every night, and the casino sits on Deck 6. Then come the enrichment spaces, which set her apart:
- Artist Loft: A resident artist teaches painting.
- LYNC Digital Center: Classes cover photography and tech.
- Library: A classic English-style library, styled by Ralph Lauren Home.
- Horizons: A 180-degree observation lounge with panoramic views.
- Culinary Centre: Hands-on cooking classes bring the menus to life.
How does the Oceania Vista compare to other cruise ships in terms of amenities?
Comparing is tricky for me, because I only spent a day onboard. I have not sailed on Vista. Even so, three things stand out.
Culinary and dining
Dining is a major differentiator in my opinion. The service was immaculate. In fact, the food ranks among the best I have eaten, and that lobster chowder proves it.
Cabins and accommodation
Every stateroom has a veranda, an oversized rainforest shower and Bvlgari bath amenities. On top of that, higher suite tiers add butler service and Executive Lounge access.
Enrichment and public spaces
Vista has an Artist Loft, the LYNC Digital Center, a Ralph Lauren Home library and the Horizons lounge. Plus, the fare includes speciality dining, soft drinks, speciality coffees and House Select drinks at lunch and dinner. That gives you a real luxury feel, with plenty included in the price.
Dave has sailed on other ultra-luxury ships, and he says Vista’s amenities and decor compare closely with them.
