New ship, new dining experience...

For the first time Holland America Line will be offering a wide range of dining experiences for their guests aboard the MS Nieuw Amsterdam. The new ship is part of the Signature-Class and will start cruising in July 2010. Onboard the ship they will be a variety of restaurants for guests to enjoy from fixed to more casual dining.

There will also be a special Master Chef’s Table event in the Pinnacle Grill; this will involve an intimate seven course meal where each course will be paired with a complimenting wine. The exclusive menu will be available to 18 guests.

Included in the range of restaurants serving International cuisine will be the Tamarind, where Asian inspired food will be served. This restaurant will have panoramic views of the ocean and involves basic elements, fire, water, wood, and earth, with in the menu to provide a new culinary experience.

Other dining locations on the ship will include the Canaletto restaurant, a Terrace Grill, Slice pizzeria and Poolside snack bar.
