Salamanca is a town located to the west of Spain, there is plenty to do here from viewing the Virgen De La Vega to visiting the many different parts of the town like Plaza Major, the main central square where everyone goes to meet and socialize, the two 12th century cathedrals, the house of shells, a building studded with 350 shells. Also do not miss the roman bridge over the Tormes, built in 89AD this was an important part of the Roman silver route.
