Port Antonio Cruises
Dating to the 16th century, Port Antonio was once a major banana port,and the first tourist city on the island. Early in the 20th century thefirst tourist arrived here, on banana boats, seeking respite from thecold northern winters. Among the crowd drawn to the sunshine were ClaraBow, Bette Davis and J.P. Morgan. The most passionate of the visitorswas Errol Flynn whose spirit is still sensed on Navy Island, once ownedby the actor.
