Bratislava Cruises
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is located at the foot of the Little Carpathian Mountains on the banks of the Danube River. The excursion will start with a short bus ride to the scenic outlook 'Slavin', from where you have a panoramic view onto the city. Afterwards, you will start on a walking tour through the lovingly restored old town. You will pass through the Kapituls Lane, where you will see the Theological Seminary and the Gothic Church of the Order of St. Clare. At the Primate Square, you will find the highlight of the city, the Primate's Palace. In this Neo-classicist building, you can find a number of representational halls as well as a remarkable gallery of famous European artists. The Goblin collection from the 17th century was discovered during renovations in 1903 and is particularly worth seeing. On the way back to the vessel, you will walk across 'Hviedaslav Square' where you can see the Opera House, the Ganymede Fountain and the concert hall.
