Offering a luxurious onboard experience for just 96 guests, Sea Cloud II joined the Sea Cloud fleet in 2021. The three-masted vessel is the sister ship to the original Sea Cloud ship and combines her sibling’s tall-ship romanticism with a host of modern amenities and facilities.
In keeping with Sea Cloud’s ethos of taking guests to destinations found far from the beaten track, Sea Cloud II sails a collection of unique itineraries to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. The ship’s small size permits access to small ports and hidden islands, offering guests another layer of authentic discovery they wouldn’t experience on a larger vessel. From marquee destinations like Greece and Italy to lesser travelled gems such as Cuba’s Cienfuegos and Cassis in southern France, each voyage promises unbridled opportunities to explore.
While onboard your Sea Cloud II cruise, you’ll enjoy a private yacht-style experience. As the ship crosses seas and oceans, you can relax on deck under gentle billowing sails, enjoy world-class dining experiences, or catch up with new friends in the ship’s lounge.

Sea Cloud II offers a choice of four categories of accommodation across 47 cabins. Every cabin benefits from a queen-size bed, HD television, mirrored dressing table, mini-bar and electronic safe. The decor is similar to the original Sea Cloud, radiating warmth and comfort with soft bedding and furniture crafted from precious woods. Every cabin is re-arranged twice a day, with complimentary snacks replenished daily.
The accommodation categories are as follows:
- Upper/lower-bed cabin
- Deluxe double-bed cabin
- Junior suites
- Luxury owner suites
The two owner suites feature a king-size canopy bed and a generously-sized marble ensuite with a separate bathtub and shower.
Restaurants and dining
Head to the main restaurant to enjoy a generous breakfast and lunch buffet during the day. In the evening, savour an elegant sit-down dining experience with locally-sourced ingredients – the market-fresh fish is a firm favourite. The wine selection is regionally-influenced and complimentary during meal times.
If the weather permits, meals may also be served on deck, including evening barbecues in the summer. Furthermore, complimentary afternoon tea is provided each day on the promenade deck, serving freshly-made sweet and savoury treats, including waffles with ice cream, cakes and made-to-order crepes.
Entertainment, activities and facilities
Most itineraries include a day at sea, giving you ample time to enjoy the ship’s surroundings and relax in between shore excursions.
During the day
Head to the cabin deck to enjoy a menu of beauty and cosmetic treatments, including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. The sauna is also available on request. Alternatively, find your favourite spot in one of the comfortable deck chairs and enjoy a good book or fall asleep to the sound of passing waves. Watching the 174-foot mast hoisted above the ship is another daily highlight! Blankets are stored in wooden boxes around the ship for additional warmth in colder climates.
For those who like to keep active, venture next door to the fitness area stocked with the latest cardio equipment. Or head to the Swim Platform to dive straight into the Caribbean waters. Guests can also borrow water sports equipment, including snorkelling gear and stand-up paddleboards.
When night falls
For pre/post-dinner drinks, head to the Lido Bar – located on the Lido Deck – offering a reasonably priced menu with quality beer, wines, and spirits. Alternatively, make your way next door to enjoy live piano music and mingle with other like-minded travellers. The Lounge also hosts the occasional quiz night.
