Silversea Cruises Announce 20 "Grand Voyages" for 2012
Silversea Cruises has announced they will be adding 20 new "Grand Voyages" to their 2012 sailings. The voyages will extend from 24 to 64 days and will include exotic destinations such as Africa, South America and Asia.
The extensive sailings will offer guests the chance to fully explore and experience their chosen destinations at a more relaxed pace. Guests will be able to visit both popular and remote ports whilst sailing onboard one of Silversea’s 6-star luxury ships. Silversea’s vice president of field sales for North America, Steven Tucker said of how the grand voyages are a perfect choice for those looking for a more slow paced voyage:
“Our Grand Voyages are perfectly suited to the traveller who has the time and passion to indulge in travel on a grand scale. You can explore the most desirable ports of the Mediterranean for 27 days or visit Rio in time for Carnaval on a 64-day circumnavigation of South America -- and unpack only once."
The choice of Grand voyages includes a 53-day “Safaris & Mediterranean Sun Coasts” voyage to Africa and the Mediterranean and a 24-day “Grand Asia & Australia” voyage that calls in at Singapore, Vietnam, Australia and Indonesia.
Silversea will also be offering the ultimate grand voyage with the Silversea’s World Cruise 2012.The 115-day world voyage will call at 45 ports in 27 countries including South America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Far East and Europe.
