Regent Seven Seas to offer Cuba cruises in 2018/19

Regent Seven Seas Cruises have announced that Cuba will be a welcome addition to six of their Caribbean itineraries sailing on the Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Navigator.

Departing Miami from October 2018 through to March 2019, guests can explore the rich history and day to day culture of the capital Havana, before returning to the comfort of their luxury all inclusive accommodation.

Speaking about the voyages, Regent’s President and Chief Executive, Jason Montague, explained:

“Three of the six itineraries feature midnight departures from Havana Harbor, so guests have ample time to personally learn about Cuba’s authentic nightlife. Throughout their voyage, guests also will enjoy highly personalised service from every member of our exceptional staff and crew.”

With midnight departures from Havana Port, Regent’s guests will be able to experience the evening celebrations of a destination, that many other voyages fail to offer; In turn, Regent will provide a niche insight into the Cuba’s culture and identity.

On October 10th 2018, Seven Seas Mariner will sail from Miami to Honolulu calling at the exciting port of Havana as well as some of the most beautiful ecological areas of Central America along with a classic transit of the Panama Canal. Also on offer is the 14 night sailing through Eastern and Southern Caribbean on Regent’s most popular ship, Seven Seas Navigator. Sailing on the 11th November 2018, this voyage will yet again immerse guests in the Cuban culture.

Seven Seas Voyager has four Caribbean voyages, covering Havana from December 2018 through March 2019.

  • Dec 6th, 2018 voyage takes guests on a 10-night Western Caribbean itinerary.
  • Dec 16th, 2018, a 12-night voyage throughout the Eastern Caribbean, celebrating Christmas on board.
  • Feb 6th, 2019, a seven night Western Caribbean itinerary, calling at Costa Maya, Cozumel, Mexico and Roatán, Honduras.
  • Mar 5th, a similar itinerary replaces Costa Maya, with Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas.

As well as off shore experiences, guests can find out more about the authentic Cuban experience through compelling presentations with guest scholars and expert lecturers, with talks will exploring the people, music, art, history and culture of Havana.
