Regent Seven Seas Announce New Ship
Regent Seven Seas Cruises have announced that they will be adding to their fleet in 2023 with the addition of a sixth ship.
The as-yet-unnamed vessel will be a sister ship to 2015's Seven Seas Explorer and will follow in the wake of Seven Seas Splendor, which is scheduled to commence service for the all-inclusive cruise line in early 2020.
The price of the ship is expected to cost Regent Seven Seas Cruises approximately €475 million and will be built by the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. Similarly to the other ships in Regent's 'Explorer-Class', the new vessel will offer world-class dining experiences across a range of venues, sumptuous all-suite accommodation and a variety of bars and lounges. She will also boast a few unique enhancements which will be unveiled in the lead-up to the ship's inaugural season.
In a statement, Regent Seven Seas Cruises' CEO and President, Jason Montague said:
"Since debuting in 2016, Seven Seas Explorer has solidified her reputation as the most luxurious ship ever built based on the continuous awards and guest accolades she earns. When Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural season went on sale in April 2018, we set a new single-day booking record for our 26-year-old company, demonstrating the anticipation for her 2020 arrival. Each new ship is progressively more successful. Our growth is a reflection of the amazing people who work across our fleet, our valued shoreside employees, our loyal guests and their trusted travel advisors."
Reservations for the new ship will open in 2021, with further news to follow.
