Northern Lights Cruises
Set sail on a cruise heading north and enjoy the thrill of the hunt as you go in search of the Northern Lights.
Northern Lights cruises are a fascinating way to experience one of the world's most unusual, natural phenomena. Not only will you get an excellent vantage point to witness the spectacularly colourful light show, but you will be able to enjoy all the comfort and amenities that a cruise ship has to offer.
The Northern Lights – also referred to as Aurora Borealis - are caused by explosions on the sun throwing out millions of particles, which in turn ignite as they hit the earth's atmosphere. Many people comment that the Northern Lights are similar to a rainbow at night, with the sky shimmering in an array of green, pink and purple hints of light. Every light formation is different which means your Northern Lights experience will be truly unique.
We offer Northern Lights cruises with many of the world's finest cruise lines, including Hurtigrtuen, Cunard and Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.
Hurtigruten Northern Lights Cruises
