Lindblad Expeditions
Lindblad Expeditions, originally known as Special Expeditions, was founded in 1979 by Sven-Olof Lindblad. Sven was inspired by travelling to many remote locations all over the world alongside his father, Lars-Eric Lindblad, and his passion to promote the protection of these stunning and pristine places. Lindblad provides cruises offering fantastic opportunities to visit hidden coves, islands and vast expanses of sea with their fleet of small expedition cruise ships.
Just some of the destinations covered by Lindblad Expeditions include Alaska, Antarctica, the Galapagos Islands and the Northwest Pacific. Whilst cruising with Lindblad Expeditions, you will have the opportunity to experience nature close up with the use of zodiacs and sea kayaks. Experts of nature and history will guide you and point out the incredible sites throughout your cruise, plus with underwater cameras you are sure not to miss a thing.
Lindblad Expeditions work in partnership with National Geographic providing the opportunity for guests to learn more information about each location via in-depth research and technology, rarely found anywhere else. For example, whilst cruising in comfort along Alaska’s Inside Passage you will have the opportunity to watch soaring eagles, lunge-feeding whales and Grizzly Bears in their natural environments, along with observing the stunning scenery on your exciting expedition cruise.
