Duchess of Cornwall celebrates Cunards 170th Anniversary

This month Cunard Cruises are celebrating the 170th Anniversary of the cruise lines first cruise ship setting sail in July 1840 from Liverpool. The Duchess of Cornwall, who named the Queen Victoria cruise ship in 2007, will be cut a cake after sounding the whistle from the bridge to celebrate.

On the 26th July the Duchess will also be met by the youngest and some of the longest-serving crew members and the managing director of Cunard Cruises. It is said that Camilla takes great interest in the ship and the crew and is always welcome to visit.
