Crystal Bach Joins Crystal River Cruises
Crystal River Cruises recently took delivery of its new river cruise vessel, the 110-guest capacity Crystal Bach.
The ship is the first to be custom-built for Crystal River Cruises and is one of four planned additions that will operate under the lines’ “Rhine Class” banner. Crystal Bach was constructed by MV Werften, the Germany-based shipbuilders who will also be overseeing the builds for Crystal’s new expedition-yacht fleet.
Crystal Bach will offer guests the chance to explore the delights of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, with sailings operating from Amsterdam to Frankfurt and Amsterdam to Basel on a 10 night or 14 night basis.
Onboard Crystal Bach guests will be treated to a six-star experience, similar to that of which is offered by Crystal Cruises’ luxury yacht, Crystal Esprit. The ship is one of the only river vessels to boast all-suite, all-balcony accommodations, with each suite grade offering king-sized beds, beautiful ensuite bathroom facilities and walk-in closets.
Commenting on the new ship, Crystal’s president and CEO, Edie Rodriguez, believes Crystal Bach will set the standard for luxury river cruising:
“Her design, abundant space and standard of amenities and luxury are groundbreaking in and of themselves, then, combined with the acclaimed Crystal brand of service and attention to detail, create an unprecedented experience in the river cruising industry”.
Crystal Bach will commence her service for Crystal River Cruises in mid-August 2017. Her current programme of itineraries are available until the end of 2019. She will followed by Crystal Mahler, which is due to be delivered in September 2017.
