Argentia Cruises

Argentia lies on the southwest coast of the Avalon Peninsula of the island of Newfoundland and is primarily known as the ferry port for Nova Scotia. Nearby Placentia, settled in 1662 and the former French capital of Newfoundland, has the remains of a French fort at the Castle Hill National Historic site. At the southern end of the Peninsula you can visit St Mary's Ecological Reserve featuring vertical cliffs and over 50,000 seabirds including kittiwakes, murres and razorbills.
