The American Queen is the largest steamboat ever built and the only overnight steam-powered paddle boat operating in North America.

In the summer of 2013 American Queen underwent a refurbishment that saw expansions made to the dining venues and public areas, while other sections of the ship were re-decorated. The vessel retained the authentic American charm for which she is known and she still continues to thrill her guests.

American Queen Accommodation
The American Queen offers a variety of accommodation options. Choose from lavishly-appointed Veranda Suites that offer incredible views of the passing landscapes, or choose to enjoy the homely surroundings of an Inside Cabin.
All suites and staterooms on the American Queen boast an en-suite bathroom and television.
American Queen Dining
Dining aboard the American Queen is centred around the heartland-inspired creations of Regina Charboneau and is served in the vessel’s main dining room, the J.M. White Dining Saloon. A celebrated chef, Charboneau has created a menu that is both mouth-watering and diverse.
For example, a typical evening meal might consist of marinated Blue Crab meat with asparagus-dill mousse followed by delicious pan-seared scallops, while the breakfast menu is packed full of American standards, yet served and presented in a manner more akin to one of the world’s top fine-dining restaurants.
The ship’s other dining venues include The Front Porch Café, which is open 24 hours and serves classic American light-bites and snacks, and The River Grill & Bar, where guests can succulent meat and fish dishes.

Guests sailing on the American Queen can look forward to enjoying some of the world’s best on-ship entertainment. Each night, the two-deck-high Grand Saloon comes alive with recitals that lovingly trace America’s rich musical history; all performed by incredible bands and showboat-style cabaret acts.
