Seabourn Venture sails the world’s great wilderness regions, with Antarctica and the Arctic (including Norway, Svalbard and Greenland) forming the heart of her programme. Between polar seasons, she explores destinations such as the Canadian Maritimes, the Amazon and remote tropical coastlines. Her itineraries are built around immersive, expedition-style days rather than traditional port calls.

Seabourn Venture carries just 264 guests, served by around 120 crew. This ratio is among the highest in expedition cruising and is central to the experience: it keeps service personal, landings uncrowded, and the atmosphere closer to that of a private expedition yacht than a cruise ship.

On the expedition fleet, most core activities are included. Zodiac cruising, guided landings, kayaking and the expert-led Ventures by Seabourn programme are part of the fare, as is your expedition parka.

Seabourn Venture is an all-inclusive cruise ship. Your fare covers all dining across every venue, fine wines, premium spirits and champagne throughout the ship, gratuities, the core expedition programme, and your expedition gear. Focus on base and mid layers; Seabourn provides the heavy outer parka and loans waterproof boots for wet landings. Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit are sister ships, near-identical in design, size and capability, both carrying 264 guests with Zodiacs, kayaks, and the same all-inclusive luxury. The practical difference is where and when each sails, so the better choice usually comes down to matching the ship to the itinerary and dates you want.

Children are welcome, but Seabourn Venture is designed around adults and has no dedicated kids’ club. Expedition voyages tend to suit older children and teenagers who can take part in landings and activities. Minimum age requirements apply to polar sailings, so check the specific voyage.
