Seabourn Pursuit
Seabourn Pursuit entered service in 2023 as Seabourn Cruises‘ second purpose-built expedition ship, following the successful debut of Seabourn Venture a year earlier. Sharing the same ultra-luxury DNA and expedition capabilities as her sister ship, Seabourn Pursuit carries no more than 264 guests to some of the world’s most remote destinations.
With a PC6 ice-strengthened hull and an expert Expedition Team comprising specialists in fields such as history, wildlife and natural sciences, she offers a seamless and comfortable way to explore regions including Antarctica, the Arctic and beyond.
While expedition cruising is often associated with the polar regions, Seabourn Pursuit has become particularly renowned for her voyages along Australia’s Kimberley coast. Sailing between Darwin and Broome during the dry season, she can access tidal waterfalls, sandstone gorges and ancient Wandjina and Gwion rock art sites in a way that larger vessels simply cannot. The feedback we receive from clients returning from these sailings is exceptional, and they remain among the most sought-after expedition experiences available anywhere in the world.
The onboard experience closely mirrors that of Seabourn Venture, which Nikki sailed in Antarctica. You can read our full Seabourn Venture Antarctica review for a first-hand account of life on board, the dining, the suites and what daily Zodiac landings actually feel like. Much of that experience translates directly to a voyage aboard Seabourn Pursuit.
