Seabourn Pursuit’s fleet of Zodiacs and kayaks is fundamental to the expedition experience, with both used extensively throughout each voyage. You’ll go ashore almost exclusively by Zodiac, which also serves as a platform for sightseeing cruises, something particularly spectacular along the Kimberley coast. Kayaking is optional, but it offers a quieter, more personal way to explore. There’s something special about floating alongside Antarctic ice floes or paddling beneath the Kimberley’s towering red cliffs.

The Expedition Team aboard Seabourn Pursuit is among the best at sea. Comprised of experts in fields such as science, history, wildlife and photography, they lead landings and enrich the experience through daily briefings and lectures in the Discovery Centre. All 132 suites aboard Seabourn Pursuit are ocean-view, with a private balcony, a marble ensuite bathroom, and a comfortable living area. Categories range from the standard Veranda and Panorama Veranda Suites, through to the Penthouse Suites and the most expansive Owner’s, Signature, and Wintergarden Suites at the top of the ship.

Calling these suites on Seabourn Pursuit ‘entry-level’ does them a disservice. Both the Veranda and Panorama Suites offer floor-to-ceiling windows, a private veranda, a walk-in wardrobe, and a marble bathroom, giving you a comfortable base from which to enjoy the Kimberley’s red cliffs or the ice-strewn polar coastline as it passes by.

For more space, the Penthouse and Penthouse Spa Suites add a separate living area, a larger veranda, and a dining table for entertaining. The Penthouse Spa Suites are aptly named, located close to the wellness areas and featuring a few thoughtful spa-inspired touches, making them ideal if you want to spread out and relax during days at sea or between expedition landings.

At the top of the ship, the Owner’s, Signature, and Wintergarden Suites are the most expansive accommodations aboard Seabourn Pursuit. Expect generous living and dining areas, wraparound or extended balconies, and, in the case of the Wintergarden Suite, a striking glass-enclosed solarium. These suites are often among the first to sell, particularly on her sought-after Kimberley itineraries.

This dual venue offers a different character depending on the time of day. From morning through to mid-afternoon, you can enjoy light bites from The Patio, including salads, sandwiches and hot dishes from the grill. After dark, it transforms into Earth & Ocean, with a daily-changing menu served under the stars, an evening worth experiencing at least once during the voyage.

When you’re not off the ship exploring, Seabourn Pursuit’s public spaces provide the ideal environment in which to relax. The Constellation Lounge, with its panoramic views and fully stocked bar, is a popular choice for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail.
