Yesterday,
Seabourn achieved a momentous milestone by officially taking delivery of its second purpose-built, ultra-luxury expedition vessel, the
Seabourn Pursuit. The prestigious
T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy, hosted a special maritime handover ceremony to commemorate this proud occasion.
As the latest addition to Seabourn's fleet, Seabourn Pursuit is made to revolutionise the expedition cruising experience. With its unmatched luxury and state-of-the-art amenities, the ship is the industry's newest and most coveted expedition vessel.
Schedule 2023/2024
The vessel's service debut is set for
August 12, 2023, with five Mediterranean voyages before embarking on two transatlantic and Caribbean journeys.
Starting on
October 10, 2023, the ship will venture on expedition sailings to explore South America, the Amazon, and Antarctica until late March 2024.
Following its inaugural Antarctic season, Seabourn Pursuit will traverse the South Pacific towards Australia for its first exploration of the Kimberley region in the Northern Territory and Western Australia between
June and August 2024.
Further exploration awaits as Pursuit visits Papua New Guinea, West Papua, and Indonesia, embarking on a journey across the South Pacific from Chile to Melanesia between
March and October 2024.
