Oceania Membership Levels & Lifestyle

April 2026

Is Oceania Cruises adults only? 2026 membership levels, spa, and lifestyle guide

One of the most frequent questions we receive from travellers considering a transition from premium lines to the upper-premium world of Oceania Cruises, is whether the ships are strictly adults-only. While the answer is technically no, the reality of the onboard experience is very different from the family-centric resorts found on larger vessels. Oceania Cruises does not market itself as an adults-only line, yet you will find no kids' clubs, no dedicated youth counsellors, and no child-focused entertainment. The result is a ship designed entirely around the tastes and rhythms of adult travellers. For 2026, this focus on a sophisticated, destination-driven lifestyle is more pronounced than ever.

The Oceania Cruises lifestyle: Adult-oriented by design

If you are looking for a holiday defined by quiet afternoons in the library, culinary discovery, and intelligent conversation, Oceania fits the bill. Because there are no facilities for children, the demographic is overwhelmingly adult, typically attracting well-travelled couples and solo travellers who value a serene environment.

The Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center

Wellness in Oceania has evolved beyond the traditional massage menu. The Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center is a comprehensive wellness destination. For 2026, the focus has shifted toward longevity and holistic health.

  • The Spa Terrace: On the Vista and Allura class ships, this private outdoor space features a thalassotherapy pool and plush daybeds. It is one of the quietest spots on the ship.
  • Aquamar Kitchen: This dedicated dining venue offers healthy, flavour-focused breakfast and lunch options, such as cold-pressed juices and organic power bowls.
  • Holistic treatments: Beyond the standard facials, the Oceania spa offers acupuncture, medi-spa clinics for non-surgical enhancements, and nutrition consultations.

Oceania Club membership levels for 2026

The Oceania Club is the line’s loyalty programme, and it is remarkably generous. Membership is automatic once you have completed your first cruise, and points (referred to as credits) are earned based on the length of your voyage.

As you move through the Oceania cruises membership levels, the perks become significantly more valuable:

1 – Bronze (2 credits): Invitation to the cocktail reception and member-only offers. Complimentary Oceania Club private label wine, plus a $100 onboard credit.

2 – Silver (10 credits): $500 onboard credit and a 10% savings on the Prestige Select beverage package.

3 – Gold (15 credits): $6500 onboard credit, two complimentary Aquamar Spa Treatment credits each up to $150 and two complimentary Custom Air Fee Waivers.

4 – Platinum (20 credits): Invitation to Special Dinner with Officers, Priority Terminal check-in, $750 onboard credit and FREE CRUISE* (certain restrictions apply)

5 – Diamond (40 credits): All Platinum benefits, significant cruise discounts and $1,000 onboard credit.

6 – President’s Circle (60+ credits): All Diamond benefits, Prestige Select beverage package comes free of charge, included in General Manager’s VIP list and complimentary Laundry service.

*This benefit is excluded from the NCLH Loyalty Status Honoring Program.

For 2026, Oceania has refined these tiers to ensure that returning guests receive tangible benefits, particularly regarding laundry and beverage inclusions, which can save hundreds of pounds on longer voyages.

Activities for the curious mind

Entertainment on Oceania is designed to be engaging rather than passive. You won’t find high-energy pool games or loud music.

The Culinary Center

Oceania is widely regarded as the best cruise line for foodies. The Culinary Center is a professional-grade teaching kitchen where you can take hands-on classes led by master chefs. In 2026, many of these classes will be linked to “Culinary Discovery Tours” ashore, where you visit a local market with the chef in the morning and cook with those ingredients in the afternoon.

The Artist Loft

For those with a creative streak, the Artist Loft features artists-in-residence who teach everything from watercolour painting to charcoal sketching. It is a social, relaxed space that often becomes the heart of the ship during sea days.
