Best cabins on Azamara: A guide to ship layouts & suites

All four Azamara ships share essentially the same layout, which makes choosing a cabin across the fleet a regular exercise. Every stateroom faces the ocean. There are no interior cabins. But the range from a Club Interior to a Club World Owner's Suite covers a significant spectrum of space, location, and included benefits. This guide covers every category and what you actually get at each level.

Stateroom categories

Club Interior

The entry point, though interior here means no window rather than no ocean-facing position. These are the most compact cabins on the ship and suit guests who plan to spend most of their time ashore and on deck. Well-appointed for the category with a comfortable bed and bathroom.

Club Ocean View

A fixed window and natural light make a noticeable difference on longer sailings. Slightly larger than the Club Interior, and a practical choice for guests who want daylight in their cabin without the premium of a balcony.

Club Veranda

The most popular category on board and the point where the Azamara experience starts to feel fully realised. A private balcony, sitting area, and French balcony variants are available. On Mediterranean itineraries where mornings in port are often spectacular, waking up and stepping onto a private balcony is one of the better ways to start a day.

Club Continent Suite

A step up in space with a separate sitting area, enhanced bathroom, and premium amenities including complimentary speciality dining. The suite experience on Azamara changes the practical reality of the voyage: speciality restaurants are included, butler service is available on higher categories, and priority embarkation applies.

Club Spa Suite

Located adjacent to the spa on Azamara Pursuit, these suites include complimentary access to the thermal suite throughout the voyage. For guests who plan to use the spa regularly, the access inclusion alone changes the value calculation considerably.

Club World Owner’s Suite

The flagship accommodation on the fleet. Panoramic views, a full living and dining area, butler service, and the best position on the ship. For milestone voyages or guests who want the full expression of what Azamara offers, this is it.

The newest Azamara ship

Azamara joined the fleet in 2022 as the fourth and newest ship. Formerly Pacific Princess, she underwent an extensive refit to match the Azamara standard. The fleet also includes Azamara Journey, Azamara Quest, and Azamara Pursuit. All four share the same layout and carry no more than 702 guests, which gives the fleet a consistency of experience that guests returning to a second ship find reassuring.

Solo cabins on Azamara

Azamara does not have dedicated solo cabins, but single occupancy is available across stateroom categories with a single supplement. The supplement varies by sailing and category. For guests interested in solo cruising, our Voyage Consultants can identify which Azamara sailings and categories offer the most favourable single supplement rates. It is worth asking before booking.

Best deck for a quiet stay

Midship cabins on the middle decks offer the smoothest ride and the least noise from public areas above or below. Forward cabins offer dramatic arrival views but more motion in rougher seas. Cabins on higher decks near the pool deck can pick up foot traffic on busy sea days. Checking what sits directly above your cabin on the deck plan before committing is always worthwhile.
