SeaDream’s renovation project gets underway
January 2022

SeaDream Yacht Club’s megayacht SeaDream I is set to enter drydock in March 2022 for a series of dramatic renovations, including upgrades to the accommodation and the marina platform. SeaDream's renovation project is a continuation of a refurbishment programme costing the luxury cruise line more than 10 million dollars, following the transformation of SeaDream II in January 2022.
Intended to reflect SeaDream Yacht Club’s steadfast commitment to guests’ comfort and convenience, the scheduled renovations will see an implementation of many new innovative touchpoints, including a complete refurbishment of both the Yacht Club Staterooms and the Commodore Suites. Both accommodation categories will benefit from installing all-new hardware and soft furnishings, state-of-the-art electrical upgrades (including USB charger ports) and new 55-inch television screens to access streaming services and TV channels.
SeaDream will also refresh the yachts outside decks with Burmese teakwood and install two couples’ jacuzzis boasting 360-degree views on Deck 6. Furthermore, the ship’s marina platform will be upgraded to provide more consistency with the overall SeaDream Yacht Club experience.
Other enhancements include:
- A more streamlined, functional approach to the stateroom’s storage options.
- New Balinese beds and sun loungers with Loro Piana® Italian upholstery and cushions and bespoke Frette® Italian towels.
- TUUCI® designer parasols and hammocks on all outside decks.
- Two new outdoor rain showers on the pool deck.
- A new Instagram projection wall so guests can share photos of their time onboard.
