SeaDream to return to Northern Europe in 2025

SeaDream Yacht Club has announced that the line will return to Northern Europe in the summer of 2025.  From May to August, SeaDream II will operate 14 sailings between seven and 11-nights long, calling at 46 ports across the northernmost parts of Europe, including Scandinavia. SeaDream last sailed to Northern Europe in 2021. When asked about the line’s return, Founder and Chairman Atle Brynestad said, “SeaDream is Norwegian-family owned, and Norway and Northern Europe is our backyard. We have selected some of the most breathtaking and fascinating destinations throughout the region.” 

Lisbon to Bordeaux

The season will kick-start with a ten-night voyage, departing on 5 May, from Lisbon to Bordeaux, with overnight stays in Bilbao, Spain and Bordeaux, France.  On 15 May, SeaDream II will make her way to the River Thames, where she will dock overnight alongside HMS Belfast, adjacent to Tower Bridge. 

Norwegian Fjords

She will then operate four 10-night itineraries in June and seven-night itineraries in July, focusing on the “quaint and picturesque villages and breathtaking fjord lands of Norway.” “Guests will sail through small channels and narrow waterways that larger vessels cannot enter for a distinctive yachting experience”, SeaDream explained. Such destinations include Måløy, Kalvåg, Vik, Rosendal, and Svolvaer. Guests will also have the chance to spend the night in Reine in the Lofoten Islands and cruise Nordland’s Trollfjord. 

Baltic and Kiel Canal

SeaDream II will also offer six voyages bringing guests closer to the Baltic cities of Denmark, Germany and Sweden. Sailing between Oslo and Stockholm, the itineraries will feature calls to Frederikshavn, Copenhagen and Rønne in Denmark and the seaside towns of Warnemünde and Sassnitz in Germany. Two of these voyages will include a transit of the Kiel Canal, with the final ending with two nights docked in Bordeaux. 

Stockholm round-trip

The season will also feature a Stockholm roundtrip, departing on 11 July and calling at Visby in Sweden, Klaipeda in Lithuania, Kuressaare and Tallinn in Estonia and Helsinki, Turku and Mariehamn in Finland. 

Bordeaux to Seville

Finally, SeaDream II will make her way from Bordeaux to Seville, Spain where she will spend a night in port.
