Cunard Queen Anne restaurants & menus: Britannia, Princess Grill, and buffet guide
Food on Cunard has always been taken seriously. Queen Anne takes that even further, with 15 dining venues spanning formal restaurants, casual eateries, and everything in between. Which venue you dine in depends largely on your cabin category. But understanding what's available, and where, helps you make the most of every meal on board.Cunard dining: How it works
Cunard operates a two-class dining system across the fleet. Your cabin category determines your main restaurant, though all guests can use the casual venues regardless of accommodation. Britannia guests dine in the Britannia Restaurant. Grill guests (Princess Grill and Queens Grill categories) dine in their respective dedicated restaurants. The difference in experience between the two is significant and worth understanding before you book. For a broader picture of what's included in the fare versus what costs extra, our Cunard drinks packages and entertainment guide covers that in full.
The Britannia Restaurant
The Cunard Britannia Restaurant is the main dining room for the majority of guests on board. On Queen Anne, it sits across two levels and seats several hundred guests at a time.
The Cunard menu changes daily and covers a wide range across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Expect classic dishes alongside regional and seasonal options, all prepared to a consistently high standard. Dinner is the centrepiece, with a formal menu that reflects the occasion. Cunard dining times for the Britannia Restaurant typically run across two sittings in the evening, with a choice of early or late dining assigned at booking.
Open seating is also available for breakfast and lunch, which gives the day a more relaxed rhythm. The Britannia Club restaurant, available to Club Balcony cabin guests, offers single-seating dining with a more intimate feel and slightly more flexibility on timing.

Princess Grill
The Cunard Princess Grill menu offers à la carte dining in a smaller, more exclusive setting. Princess Grill guests have their own dedicated restaurant, a reserved table for the duration of the voyage, and a more personalised level of service throughout.
Menus are broader and more flexible than in the Britannia Restaurant. Dishes change regularly and the kitchen accommodates requests with more ease. Grill guests also have access to the Grills Lounge, where pre-dinner canapés and drinks are served each evening.
The Princess Grill sits one level below the Queens Grill in the hierarchy, but the dining experience is genuinely excellent in its own right. For guests who want a step up from Britannia without the full Queens Grill premium, it consistently delivers.

Queens Grill
The Queens Grill is the top dining tier on Queen Anne and across the Cunard fleet. Guests here dine from a fully à la carte menu with no set options, meaning virtually anything can be requested.
Service is highly personalised throughout. Queens Grill guests also benefit from butler service in their suites, private terrace access, and priority arrangements across the ship. It’s a noticeably different experience from the rest of the ship, and one that regular Cunard guests often find difficult to give up once they’ve tried it.

The Cunard Queen Anne buffet and casual dining
The Cunard Queen Anne buffet sits primarily in the Lido, which serves a broad self-service spread across breakfast, lunch, and lighter evening options. It’s relaxed, flexible, and useful on port days when timing is tight.
Beyond the Lido, Queen Anne introduces several newer casual venues not found on the older Queens.
Artisans’ Foodhall is one of the standout additions. It runs throughout the day, covering everything from breakfast pastries and smoothies to hearty lunches, afternoon snacks, and casual dinners including burgers, curries, and roast options.
The Golden Lion Pub serves traditional pub lunches daily and operates as a relaxed social hub throughout the afternoon and evening.
The Carinthia Lounge covers morning coffees, pastries, light lunches, and afternoon charcuterie boards and small plates. It’s one of the most used spaces on board for good reason.
The Wellness Café is a newer addition unique to Queen Anne, serving lighter, health-focused options for guests who want something fresher between the main meals.

Afternoon tea
Afternoon tea runs daily in the Queen’s Room and remains one of the most distinctly Cunard experiences on board. White-gloved service, freshly baked scones, finger sandwiches, pastries, and a tea menu running to dozens of varieties. It’s included in the fare for all guests and fills up quickly on sea days.
For everything you need to know about the wider Cunard experience on board, our Cunard drinks packages and entertainment guide and dress code guide cover the other essentials.
