Cunard Cruises from Southampton 2026 & 2027: Itineraries and port parking guide
Southampton is Cunard's home port. Three of the four Queens call it home, and for UK guests, it's one of the great advantages of booking with the line: no flights, no early airport starts, no luggage restrictions. You simply drive or take the train, board the ship, and sail. But getting the most out of a Southampton departure means knowing which terminal to head to, how parking works, and what's actually sailing when. This guide covers all of it.Which Cunard ships sail from Southampton?
Cunard cruises from Southampton operate across three of the four Queens. Queen Mary 2 is the flagship and Southampton's most iconic regular visitor. She divides her time between transatlantic crossings to New York and occasional European and world voyage departures. In 2026, she departed on a historic simultaneous world voyage alongside Queen Anne, completing her first-ever transit of the Panama Canal. Queen Anne returned from her 2026 world voyage in time for a full summer programme from Southampton covering Norwegian Fjords, Northern Europe, Canary Islands, and short breaks. She's the newest and most contemporary ship in the fleet and a strong choice for guests who want modern design alongside classic Cunard heritage. Queen Victoria covers Mediterranean, Fjords, and Northern Europe itineraries from Southampton through 2026 and into 2027. She's a well-established favourite among regular Cunard guests. For a broader view of everything sailing from Southampton in 2026, our complete Southampton cruise guide covers every line and ship in detail.
Cunard itineraries from Southampton in 2026 & 2027
Cunard cruises 2026 from Southampton cover a wide range of durations and destinations, making the programme one of the most versatile departing from the UK.
Short breaks (2 to 5 nights) offer a first taste of Cunard without the commitment of a longer voyage. These typically call at ports in Western Europe including Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Bruges.
Norwegian Fjords (7 to 12 nights) run through the summer months on both Queen Anne and Queen Victoria. Standard calls include Bergen, Flåm, Geiranger, and Olden. These are among the most popular no-fly itineraries on the Cunard calendar. Our Cunard Norwegian Fjords guide covers what to expect ashore in detail.
Mediterranean (12 to 21 nights) sailings on Queen Victoria visit Spain, France, Italy, and occasionally Croatia and Greece. Longer itineraries venture into the Adriatic and Eastern Med.
Transatlantic crossings on Queen Mary 2 between Southampton and New York run throughout the year and remain one of the most iconic ocean travel experiences available anywhere. They suit guests who want the journey itself to be the destination.
World cruise sectors allow guests to join or leave a world voyage at a mid-point port, covering a specific region rather than the full itinerary. It’s one of the most practical ways to experience world cruise-style sailing at a shorter duration.
Cunard’s 2026 to 2027 programme adds 90 new voyages across the fleet, visiting 101 destinations in 57 countries. Browse the full range on our Cunard cruise deals page.

The Cunard terminal in Southampton
Southampton has five cruise terminals in total. Cunard predominantly uses the Mayflower Cruise Terminal (Berth 106, Dock Gate 10) and the Ocean Cruise Terminal (Berths 46/47, Dock Gate 4), though terminal allocation can vary by sailing.
Always check your specific terminal when your booking documents arrive. The terminal name and dock gate will be confirmed closer to departure. Road signs throughout Southampton direct you clearly towards the dock gates, and the ship name typically appears on signage as you approach.
The terminals are well set up for embarkation day. Luggage drop is straightforward, check-in is organised, and the process from car park to gangway is efficient.

Cunard parking in Southampton
Cunard parking in Southampton is handled by CPS (Cruise and Passenger Services), which is the official parking provider for Cunard and P&O at Southampton. This is separate from ABParking, which handles other lines at the port.
CPS offers secure, on-port parking directly adjacent to the cruise terminals with 24-hour security. You drive to the terminal, hand over your car to a CPS valet, and it’s parked for you. The car is waiting when you return. Prices typically run from around £130 to £180 per week depending on the season and sailing length.
It’s worth booking CPS parking well in advance, particularly for summer sailings and world cruise departures. Popular dates sell out.
Alternatives to official port parking
If on-port pricing feels steep, a couple alternatives are worth considering.
- Meet-and-greet services such as Parking4Cruises operate from secure compounds near the port. You drive to the terminal, hand over your keys at the drop-off point, and the company parks your car nearby. Prices often start from around £60 to £70 per week for a 7-night cruise.
- Hotel and park packages combine a pre-cruise overnight stay with parking for the duration of your voyage. The Voco by IHG Southampton is a popular choice, offering breakfast, a one-way taxi to the terminal, and up to 15 days’ parking in a single package.
Getting to Southampton without a car
Southampton is well-connected by rail. South Western Railway runs direct services from London Waterloo to Southampton Central in around 80 minutes. From the station, it’s a short taxi ride (around £8 to £10) to the cruise terminals.
Cunard and P&O also offer dedicated coach transfers from selected pickup points around England and Wales, sometimes included free of charge at the time of booking. It’s worth asking our Voyage Consultants about this when you reserve your sailing.

Why book a no-fly Cunard Cruise from Southampton?
The practical benefits are straightforward. No airport queues, no luggage restrictions, no early morning departures, and no transfers at the other end. You arrive in Southampton, board the ship, and that’s it.
For longer sailings like world voyage sectors or extended world cruises, the no-fly convenience becomes even more valuable. Packing for 30 nights or more is far easier without airline weight limits.
