Used for both landings and sightseeing trips, the Zodiacs will be your main mode of transport when not onboard, while the kayaks provide an option for those looking to explore ice floes and sea caves.

Seabourn Venture’s Expedition Team of scientists, naturalists, historians, and photographers lead every landing and excursion, while also hosting daily talks in the ship’s Discovery Centre. Their expertise adds another layer of exploration to the experience, and you’ll find them advising on everything from the best whale-spotting opportunities to stories of how particular glaciers formed.

The vessel’s PC6 ice-strengthened hull enables it to operate confidently in polar waters, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. Of course, a Seabourn Venture cruise is all about discovering your inner explorer, so you’ll receive a Helly Hansen expedition parka to keep as a memento of your voyage, while waterproof muck boots are loaned for the duration of your trip – you don’t need to worry about bringing your own.

All 132 of Seabourn Venture’s suites boast an ocean view courtesy of a private balcony. Alongside this outdoor space, you’ll also enjoy a marble ensuite bathroom and a comfortable living area. Accommodation categories range from the standard Veranda and Panorama Veranda suites, through to the Penthouse Suites and the expansive Owner’s, Signature, and Wintergarden Suites.

Calling these suites on Seabourn Venture ‘entry-level’ does them a disservice. Both the Veranda and Panorama Suites offer floor-to-ceiling windows, a private veranda, a walk-in wardrobe, and a marble bathroom, allowing you to enjoy sweeping views of the ice and the coastline as they pass by.

For more space, the Penthouse and Penthouse Spa Suites add a separate living area, a larger veranda, and a dining table for entertaining. The Penthouse Spa Suites are aptly named, located close to the wellness areas and featuring a few thoughtful spa-inspired touches, making them ideal if you want to spread out and relax during days at sea or between landings.

At the top of the ship, the Owner’s, Signature, and Wintergarden Suites are the most expansive accommodations aboard Seabourn Venture. Expect generous living and dining areas, wraparound or extended balconies, and, in the case of the Wintergarden Suite, a striking glass-enclosed solarium. As you can probably imagine, these suites are often among the first to sell, particularly on highly sought-after Antarctica itineraries.

Dining is one of the many things our clients love about cruising with Seabourn, and Seabourn Venture maintains these high standards. All dining is included, along with fine wines, champagnes and premium spirits which you’ll also find in your in-suite mini-bar. Furthermore, the option of in-suite dining is always available should you want to relax in the confines of your chosen accommodation after a busy day exploring.

A hallmark of the Seabourn experience, The Restaurant is the vessel’s main dining room, and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with all meals served à la carte. The Restaurant is an open-seating venue, so you can dine when you like and with whom you wish.

The Colonnade is more informal than The Restaurant, with buffets for breakfast and lunch, and table service in the evening. You’ll find plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, the latter of which is recommended when sailing the Kimberley or South Pacific on a Seabourn Venture cruise.

This dual venue offers different options depending on the time of day. From morning through to the afternoon, you can enjoy light bites like sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs from The Patio. In the evening, it’s a more elevated experience, with Earth & Ocean offering dining under the stars and a daily-changing menu.

Seabourn Venture’s public spaces make for the ideal environment when you’re not off the ship exploring. With its panoramic views and fully-stocked bar, the Constellation Lounge is popular for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail, while the Expedition Lounge offers a cosy, comfortable environment to catch up with fellow guests. When the weather permits, head to the Sky Bar to enjoy the whirlpools and bar service.

Beyond the lounges, Seabourn Venture’s everyday amenities reflect Seabourn’s quiet attention to detail. A 24-hour concierge handles requests with discretion, while complimentary laundry is available for guests in higher suite categories. There is a small boutique for essentials and resort wear, a library with curated regional reading, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the ship, so you stay connected throughout your voyage.

The Spa by Dr Andrew Weil is the hub of Seabourn Venture’s wellness offering, with treatment rooms, a thermal suite and a fitness centre. Massages, facials and body therapies draw on Dr Weil’s integrative approach, while the gym offers cardio and strength equipment with sweeping ocean views. It is the calm counterpoint to an active day among ice and wildlife.
