Silversea Dining Guide: Restaurants & What's Included
Dining is one of the areas where the Silversea cruise experience is most consistently praised by returning guests. The all-inclusive model means no bill arrives at the end of a meal, no surcharges for speciality restaurants, and no decisions about whether to upgrade to a better wine list. Everything is included. What varies is where you eat, what the kitchen is cooking, and whether you have made a reservation.Silversea All-Inclusive Dining: What Is Covered
Silversea's all-inclusive dining covers all meals across all venues, all wines, spirits, and soft drinks, and in-suite dining around the clock. Gratuities are included. There are no cover charges for speciality restaurants and no fee for room service at 3am. This is standard across the fleet, regardless of suite category. The practical effect of this is that guests stop thinking about the cost of each meal, which changes the experience considerably. You eat where you want, order what you want, and stay as long as you like. On a 14-night voyage, that freedom becomes part of the rhythm of the trip.
Silversea Restaurants: Venue by Venue
The Restaurant
The main dining room on every Silversea ship. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with an à la carte menu that changes daily. The atmosphere is formal enough to feel special but relaxed enough to linger. Single, double, and larger tables are available. No fixed seating times and no assigned tables, so you eat when you want and with whom you choose.
La Terrazza
The Italian speciality restaurant is available on most ships in the fleet. Antipasti, house-made pasta, and a menu that leans towards the regions of Italy rather than generic Italian trattoria fare. Reservations are recommended, particularly on longer sailings. No cover charge.
Seishin
The Japanese restaurant is found on Silver Muse, Silver Moon, and Silver Nova. Omakase-style menus alongside sushi and sashimi. One of the more focused speciality dining experiences on the fleet and worth booking early on embarkation day.

Spaccanapoli
The casual poolside pizzeria, serving wood-fired pizza for lunch and into the early evening. One of the more relaxed dining options on the ship and a good choice on port days when you want something quick before heading ashore or after returning.
The Pool Grill
Burgers, grilled fish, salads, and lighter fare served in an outdoor setting. Available at lunchtime and popular on sea days. The least formal dining option on most ships and a practical choice when the dress code is the last thing you want to think about.
S.A.L.T. Kitchen
Available on Silver Moon and Silver Nova, S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) is Silversea’s culinary programme built around the destinations being visited. The restaurant changes its menu based on itinerary, incorporating local producers, techniques, and ingredients. It is one of the more interesting developments in Silversea cruise dining in recent years and worth prioritising if you are sailing on either ship.

Dietary Requirements and 24-Hour Service
Silversea handles dietary requirements well in practice. Guests are asked to submit requirements at the time of booking, and the kitchen is notified before embarkation. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-specific requests are accommodated across all venues. It is worth confirming with your butler on arrival that requirements have been noted, particularly for speciality restaurants.
In-suite dining is available 24 hours across the fleet. The full restaurant menu is available during dining hours, with a reduced menu overnight. Your butler can arrange for breakfast to be delivered to your suite at a time of your choosing, which is one of the more quietly appreciated features of the Silversea experience.
