Cruise overview

Spanning five countries, 15 ports, and six UNESCO World Heritage sites in 17-nights, this voyage takes the Mediterranean in autumn, when the light softens and the ports belong more to the locals. The route traces the UNESCO triumvirate of Split, Dubrovnik, and Kotor before Otranto and Sorrento, where two nights open the door to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast in quieter October conditions. From Rome, the voyage calls at Elba, where Napoleon’s two residences tell the story of his 300-day exile in 1814, then two Corsican ports: Bastia’s Genoese citadel and Calvi, with its 15th-century citadel and a midnight departure to make full use of the evening. The Balearic finale brings Mahon’s extraordinary harbor, the largest in the Mediterranean, Georgian gin distilleries marking British occupation, Palma de Mallorca’s Gothic cathedral, and finally Barcelona.
