Star Breeze
30 Nov '28Cruise overview
Create lifetime memories as your Windstar yacht sails the ethereal paradise of Tahiti, enhanced by curated Tahiti excursions that bring you closer to the region’s extraordinary beauty and culture. On your French Polynesia voyage, you’ll explore cerulean seas, lush greenery in Raiatea, and Moorea’s dark peaks, ending each day with a fiery sunset. A Windstar yacht — especially one where you can swim, snorkel or kayak right from the aft Marina Platform — is the perfect way to take in these remarkable sights. Visit six spectacular islands — which would otherwise be difficult to combine on one vacation, with immersive Tahiti excursions that showcase both iconic highlights and local traditions. Tour romantic Bora Bora, with its legendary white-sand shores (and a visit to a private motu, or islet), and Huahine, visiting millennium-old ruins. Overnight visits allow cultural immersion; learn to tie a pareo and sample local cuisine while mingling with villagers. Windstar’s Signature Beach Party features a splendid barbecue and a rare and dazzling performance of Polynesian fire dancing.
Itinerary
Papeete, Tahiti
Papeete will be your gateway to the tropical paradise of French Polynesia, where islands fringed with gorgeous beaches and turquoise ocean await to soothe the soul. This spirited city is the capital of French Polynesia, and serves as a superb base for onward exploration of Tahiti – an island of breathtaking landscapes and oceanic vistas. Wonderful lagoons of crisp, clear water beg to be snorkelled, stunning black beaches and blowholes pay tribute to the island’s volcanic heritage, and lush green mountains beckon you inland on adventures, as you explore extraordinary Tahiti. Visit to relax inside picturesque stilted huts, which stand out over shimmering water, as you settle into the intoxicating rhythm of life, in this Polynesian paradise.
