Swan Hellenic voyages are all-inclusive. Your fare covers all onboard dining, 24-hour room service, a selection of premium wines, beers, cocktails and spirits, the full lecture programme with the onboard expedition team, gratuities, port taxes, standard Wi-Fi and shore excursions led by the expedition team. On polar voyages, your Helly Hansen expedition parka and rubber boots for shore landings are also included.

Flights aren’t automatically included in Swan Hellenic’s standard fare, although some voyages, particularly Antarctica departures from Ushuaia, include charter or connecting flights as part of the operator’s Cruise Plus programme. Our Voyage Consultants can arrange flights, transfers and hotels through our tailor-made booking service, which often represents better value than arranging each element separately.

Swan Hellenic’s fleet is broadly consistent in style and standard across SH Vega, SH Minerva and SH Diana. Vega and Minerva each carry 152 guests and are the operator’s primary polar expedition ships. SH Diana carries 192 guests, offers slightly larger public spaces and spends more time on Mediterranean and warm-weather itineraries. For polar voyages, Swan Hellenic provides a branded Helly Hansen expedition parka and rubber boots for shore landings, both of which are included in your fare. You’ll simply need to bring your own thermal base layers, mid-layers, waterproof over-trousers, warm gloves, hat and sunglasses. Our Voyage Consultants will also be happy to provide a recommended packing list before you travel.

While Zodiac cruises and guided shore landings form the heart of the experience, many excursions are suitable for guests with moderate mobility, and participation is always optional.
