The Mediterranean programme runs from May through to October, with both yachts operating in the region across the summer season. May and June sailings tend to be quieter and the temperatures are comfortable without the peak summer heat. July and August are the most popular months, particularly for the Greek Islands, so those itineraries fill earliest. September and October are worth serious consideration for anyone who prefers fewer crowds and a slightly more relaxed pace ashore.

The programme covers a broad spread. The Western Mediterranean features the French Riviera, the Amalfi Coast, the Spanish coastline, and ports like Monte Carlo and Portofino. Further east, the Greek Islands, the Adriatic, and the Croatian coast make up a significant part of the summer schedule. What the itineraries do well is mix the well-known ports with smaller stops that rarely appear on larger ship programmes. That balance is one of the things returning guests consistently mention.

Most sailings run for seven nights, though there are longer voyages available for those who want more time in the region. Seven nights is enough to cover a meaningful stretch of coastline while still allowing the yacht to linger in places worth lingering in. Everything that’s included in the Caribbean is included here too. All dining, an open bar throughout, gratuities, and complimentary use of the water sports marina. Spa treatments and premium wine cellar selections beyond the standard offering are charged separately, but day to day most guests find they spend very little beyond the initial fare. It’s one of the things that makes comparing SeaDream against other luxury lines slightly tricky until you do it on a like-for-like basis.

It does, and the Greek Islands are consistently among the most requested destinations across the entire SeaDream programme. The yacht’s size means it can call at smaller islands and quieter anchorages that the larger luxury ships bypass entirely.
