SeaDream Yacht Club

SeaDream Yacht Club is a different kind of holiday. Aboard SeaDream I and SeaDream II, just 112 guests share a world of open teak decks, all-inclusive dining, Balinese Dream Beds, and service so personal the crew will know your name before dinner on the first night.

It’s yachting, not cruising – and that difference defines the experience. In the Caribbean and Mediterranean, SeaDream slips into harbours and hidden coves that larger ships simply can’t reach, dropping anchor where others pass by. The atmosphere is relaxed, the dress code is resort casual, and with 95 crew for 112 guests, nothing goes unnoticed.

seadream accommodation commodore suite

Suites & Staterooms

Every stateroom and suite aboard SeaDream I and II has an ocean view, whether through a picture window or porthole, so you’re never far from the sea. There are four accommodation categories, ranging from the 195 sq ft Yacht Club Stateroom up to the 447 sq ft Owner’s Suite, which has a separate bedroom, a soaking tub with sea views, and a dedicated living area.

Balconies

One thing worth knowing upfront: there are no balconies on either yacht. It sounds like a compromise, but in practice, most guests barely notice. The open decks are so accessible and so generous that they become your outdoor space – and the Balinese Dream Beds are a more than adequate substitute for a private veranda.

Refreshed interiors

Interiors were refreshed in 2022, bringing a contemporary feel without losing the classic yachting character. Dark woods, brass accents, and deep navy tones sit alongside marble bathrooms stocked with Bvlgari amenities and Belgian bed linen. It’s a compact space, but it’s well considered, and the quality of the finishing is exactly what you’d expect for such a lauded operator.

seadream dining salon

The Dining Salon

Dining on SeaDream is one of the genuine highlights of the experience, and that’s not something we say lightly. The main Dining Salon sits on Deck 2 and serves multi-course dinners prepared à la minute, with menus that shift to reflect the region you’re sailing through. In the Mediterranean, that might mean fresh-caught fish with local olive oil; in the Caribbean, something lighter and fruit-forward. The kitchen doesn’t cut corners.

seadream dining topside restaurant

Topside Restaurant

During the day, the Topside Restaurant offers a more relaxed setting with poolside lunches, afternoon snacks, and freshly baked pastries that have become something of a SeaDream ritual. Evenings al fresco on deck are worth planning around, particularly in the Mediterranean when the temperature drops just enough to make outdoor dining feel effortless.

seadream dining wine cellar

Old & New World wines

The wine cellar deserves a mention of its own. SeaDream carries an unusually broad selection of Old and New World labels, and a dedicated sommelier is on hand throughout to guide pairings without making it feel like a performance. For those who prefer something softer, the tea programme features twelve blends developed exclusively for SeaDream by a master blender in Kent, served with a timer, properly, the way it should be.

seadream dining dessert

Options for everyone

One addition that surprises many guests: a full raw, vegan, and organic menu available on every sailing, developed in partnership with the Hippocrates Health Institute. It sits alongside the main menu rather than replacing it, so there’s no compromise for anyone travelling together with different dietary preferences.

seadream amenities water sports marina

Water sports marina

The water sports marina is one of SeaDream’s most talked-about features – and rightly so. From the retractable platform at the stern, guests have complimentary access to kayaks, paddleboards, water skis, snorkel gear, personal sailboats, and a banana boat. When conditions allow, and the anchor drops in a sheltered cove, the marina opens up and the yacht effectively becomes a floating water sports base. It’s the kind of thing that sounds like a brochure line until you actually experience it.

seadream amenities balinese dream beds

Balinese Dream Beds

On deck, the Balinese Dream Beds are a signature touch that SeaDream guests tend to become quietly obsessive about. By day, they’re elevated sunbeds with unobstructed sea views; by night the crew can prepare them for sleeping under the stars, which in the Caribbean or the Greek islands is as good as it sounds. The saltwater pool and twin Jacuzzis sit nearby, and the Top of the Yacht Bar – exactly where the name suggests – offers 360-degree views that make it one of the better spots for a sundowner at sea.

seadream amenities piano bar

The Piano Bar

Elsewhere, the Piano Bar is the natural gathering point come evening, the library is well-stocked and genuinely quiet, and for those who want to stay sharp, there’s a golf simulator with access to over 30 courses worldwide. Small ship cruising sometimes means sacrificing facilities. On SeaDream, that’s rarely the case.

seadream wellness spa

The SeaDream Spa

The SeaDream Spa holds a distinction that’s worth knowing about: it’s the only Thai-certified spa at sea. Treatments are carried out by trained therapists and include the full range of Sisley Paris facials, aroma massages, detoxifying body treatments, and Thai massage for individuals and couples. There’s also an outdoor massage area on deck, open to the breeze, which on a warm Caribbean or Mediterranean morning is a considerably more pleasant place to have a treatment than a windowless room below deck.

seadream wellness fitness centre

Fitness Centre

The fitness centre is compact but well-equipped, with treadmills, bikes, and free weights. Daily yoga sessions take place on deck, led by Thai-certified crew members, and Tai Chi is also on offer for those who prefer something gentler. If you’re inclined to do your daily mile the old-fashioned way, sixteen laps of Deck 6 does it.

seadream wellness beauty services

Beauty services

Hair and nail services are available in the onboard salon, using Sisley Paris, MOROCCANOIL, and Wella products. It’s a small but considered operation, and for a yacht of this size, the breadth of what’s on offer is genuinely impressive.

seadream entertainment top of the yacht evening

Top of the Yacht

SeaDream doesn’t do shows, production sets, or headline acts. If that’s what you’re looking for, this probably isn’t the right cruise line. But if you’d rather spend your evenings with a well-made cocktail, good company, and live music drifting across an open deck, it’s hard to beat.

seadream entertainment piano bar evening

The Piano Bar by night

The Piano Bar is the heart of it. Most evenings, guests drift there after dinner, requests get taken, and conversations start with strangers who don’t stay strangers for long. On a yacht of 112 guests it’s inevitable, and most people find it one of the more enjoyable parts of the whole experience.

seadream entertainment champagne and caviar splash

Champagne & Caviar Splash

The signature Champagne and Caviar Splash is SeaDream’s most celebrated event and it earns the reputation. On Caribbean sailings, the crew set up on a secluded beach or by the pool for a full beach barbecue, with champagne flowing and caviar served in the open air. It sounds extravagant because it is, but the atmosphere is relaxed rather than formal. First-timers tend to cite it as a highlight of the whole trip.

seadream entertainment movies under the stars

Starlit Movies

On deck after dark, Starlit Movies turns the pool area into an open-air cinema. Reclining chairs, blankets, popcorn, and bar service while watching a film under the Caribbean or Mediterranean sky. It’s a small touch but a memorable one.

seadream whats included

All-inclusive luxury

SeaDream is all-inclusive, and the scope of what that covers is broader than most people expect. From the moment you step aboard, dining, drinks, gratuities, and water sports are all taken care of. There’s no signing for rounds at the bar, no bill at the end of dinner, and no tipping. For a lot of guests, that freedom is one of the things they value most about the experience.

seadream whats included jacuzzis

seadream whats included beach party

Excluded elements

A couple of elements are not included in the fare: Spa treatments, premium wine cellar selections beyond the standard offering, and the Yachting Land Adventure shore excursions are charged separately. These are optional extras rather than hidden costs, but it’s worth factoring them in when comparing overall value against other luxury lines.

Meet Lynne, our SeaDream Expert

Lynne is one of our most experienced Voyage Consultants and, unusually for a UK cruise specialist, she has sailed with SeaDream Yacht Club first-hand. She spent a week aboard SeaDream II in the Caribbean and came back with the kind of insight that a brochure simply can’t give you. She knows the staterooms, she’s eaten in the Dining Salon, she’s been on the Balinese Dream Beds, and she was there for the Champagne and Caviar Splash.
That experience shapes every conversation she has with SeaDream clients. She can tell you honestly which cabin categories are worth the upgrade, what the all-inclusive package actually covers day to day, and whether SeaDream is the right fit for the kind of holiday you have in mind. For first-timers especially, that kind of frank, informed guidance is genuinely valuable.
