It depends on the ship and on how you define luxury in practice. On the World-class ships – World Europa, World America and Seascape – the Yacht Club delivers butler service, private dining, a secluded sundeck and a level of personal attention that compares credibly with the entry tiers of lines such as Seabourn or Silversea. It isn’t the same as an ultra-luxury voyage. The ship is larger, and life onboard is broader. But for the price, the experience is genuinely impressive, and one we’re confident recommending.

Because the experience varies across the MSC fleet, and we’d rather be upfront about that than list every ship and leave you to discover the differences yourself. The World-class ships represent the Yacht Club at its strongest. Older ships have the concept, but not the same architecture, space or finish.

24-hour butler service, a dedicated concierge, priority embarkation and disembarkation at every port, all dining in the Yacht Club Restaurant and Top Sail Lounge, the Premium Extra Drinks package valid throughout the ship, premium Wi-Fi, and MED by MSC organic bathroom amenities. Gratuities are included. Shore excursions and flights are not, unless part of a package.

All three follow the same ship-within-a-ship concept. The Haven is larger in scale, with more suite categories and a bigger private complex, though Norwegian’s wider ship environment can feel busier. Celebrity’s Retreat is arguably the most polished in terms of interior design. MSC Yacht Club on the World-class ships competes strongly on space and service, and typically represents better value. We work with all three and can give you a clear, side-by-side view.

If you’re new to Yacht Club, MSC Seascape is an excellent starting point, with strong itineraries and one of the best private sundecks in the fleet. If you’re looking for the newest and most ambitious version of the concept, MSC World America, launched in 2025, represents the current peak of what MSC offers. We can match the ship to your preferred itinerary and travel style.

On the World-class ships, the range runs from Deluxe Suites (entry level with balcony and full Yacht Club access) through Superior and Royal Suites, up to the Owner’s Suites with private whirlpools and panoramic glass walls. Yes, in most of the ways that matter. Meals, premium drinks across the ship, Wi-Fi and gratuities are all included. Shore excursions, spa treatments, and certain speciality services are not included in the fare. The drinks package includes up to 15 alcoholic beverages per day per person, which is generous by any standard.

Yes, completely. The private areas are there when you want them, but the rest of the ship – restaurants, entertainment, pools and public spaces – is fully open to you. Most guests spend most of their time in the Yacht Club and use the wider ship selectively, which is exactly how it’s designed.

Owner’s Suites and Royal Suites on popular itineraries, particularly Caribbean sailings on World America, often book 9 to 12 months ahead. If you have a specific ship, sailing or suite in mind, earlier is always better. We can check live availability and hold options while you decide.

For some, yes. Guests who prioritise smaller ships and fully ultra-inclusive fares will still prefer dedicated luxury lines. But those who enjoy entry-level Silversea or Regent and are open to a different style of voyage at a more accessible price point often find that Yacht Club more than holds its own.
