National Geographic Resolution

Resolution offers all-outside cabins and suites, each thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection to the polar landscapes. Most feature balconies or large windows. Elegant interiors incorporate Scandinavian design, natural materials and neutral tones. Suites offer additional living space, upgraded amenities and butler-style service.

Meals aboard are exceptional, blending international cuisine with regional ingredients. Guests can dine in the Restaurant 270°, the more casual Bistro, or the open-air Top Deck Barbecue (weather permitting). Expect sustainable seafood, vegetarian options, and freshly baked treats prepared daily.

Public areas include a light-filled Observation Lounge, an Expedition Lounge for briefings and recaps, a Science Hub with microscopes and touchscreens, and a well-stocked Library. On deck, guests can enjoy panoramic viewing platforms, heated seating areas and a glass-walled sauna overlooking the sea ice.

The wellness area offers a full menu of massages and treatments, plus two infinity-style hot tubs and a modern fitness centre. Yoga and stretching sessions are available on selected voyages.

Evenings focus on exploration and connection, with engaging talks, photography workshops and film screenings led by the Expedition Team. The ship’s panoramic lounge also hosts live music and informal social gatherings.

While designed primarily for adult travellers, selected sailings welcome families, offering educational workshops, wildlife identification challenges and hands-on learning for children aged eight and above.
