MS Fram is Hurtigruten’s purpose-built expedition ship, named after the famous vessel used by Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen. Launched in 2007 and fully refurbished in 2022, she carries just 250 guests and offers a true expedition experience designed for comfort and discovery. With an ice-strengthened hull, panoramic observation decks and modern Scandinavian interiors, MS Fram sails to some of the world’s most remote and breathtaking destinations, including the Arctic, Antarctica and beyond.
