Sail across turquoise seas on this round-trip from the Florida coast, a seductive mix of time spent on tropical islands and in the sumptuous surroundings of our beautiful ship. Begin with a day at sea and relax into the life onboard before we reach Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos, to wiggle our toes in the sands and enjoy superb snorkeling amid coral gardens. Next, Punta Cana, home to the longest stretch of white-sand beach in the Caribbean, and lively San Juan, capital of Puerto Rico, where the cobbled streets are lined with charming pastel-colored houses and rum bars. Then it’s on to see and be seen in the chic boutiques and stylish restaurants of glamorous Gustavia, St. Barts. After two blissful days at sea, we come to Nassau in the Bahamas, with its trio of historic forts to explore. Finally, we reach Fort Lauderdale and our journey’s end.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Like many southeast Florida neighbors, Fort Lauderdale has long been revitalizing. In a state where gaudy tourist zones often stand aloof from workaday downtowns, Fort Lauderdale exhibits consistency at both ends of the 2-mile Las Olas corridor. The sparkling look results from upgrades both downtown and on the beachfront. Matching the downtown’s innovative arts district, cafés, and boutiques is an equally inventive beach area, with hotels, cafés, and shops facing an undeveloped shoreline, and new resort-style hotels replacing faded icons of yesteryear. Despite wariness of pretentious overdevelopment, city leaders have allowed a striking number of glittering high-rises. Nostalgic locals and frequent visitors fret over the diminishing vision of sailboats bobbing in waters near downtown; however, Fort Lauderdale remains the yachting capital of the world, and the water toys don’t seem to be going anywhere.
