Cruise overview

This epic Nordic adventure encompasses Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, and Greenland, weaving between cool, creative cities and remote fishing communities, all the way up to the fringes of the Arctic Circle. There are mountains, beaches, and fjords, Viking history, midnight sun and humpback whales – each port of call brings spectacular views and new experiences. Highlights include the elegant Northern Lights Cathedral in Alta, the dramatic landscapes of the Prince Christian Sound, the ice caves and glaciers of Tasiilaq, and Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the most remote villages on Earth. Add in visits to the bucket-list cities of Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Reykjavik, plus a scattering of sea days to soak up the breathtaking scenery while enjoying the comforts of the ship, and you have an unforgettable voyage you’ll be talking about for a long time to come.

Itinerary

Day 1

Copenhagen

By the 11th century, Copenhagen was already an important trading and fishing centre and today you will find an attractive city which, although the largest in Scandinavia, has managed to retain its low-level skyline. Discover some of the famous attractions including Gefion Fountain and Amalienborg Palace, perhaps cruise the city’s waterways, visit Rosenborg Castle or explore the medieval fishing village of Dragoer. Once the home of Hans Christian Andersen, Copenhagen features many reminders of its fairytale heritage and lives up to the reputation immortalised in the famous song ‘Wonderful Copenhagen’.
