Experience a taste of our World Cruise 2027 on this voyage from San Diego to Tahiti. First, we hop along the coast of Mexico, calling at Cabo San Lucas to see whales breach the waters, Mazatlán, to admire French baroque architecture, and Puerto Vallarta, a welcoming city popular with the LGBTQ+ community. Acajutla in El Salvador is our next port, within striking distance of the El Imposible National Park, then San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua, a curving bay overlooked by a statue of Jesus, and Puntarenas in Costa Rica, to mingle with the locals on the beachfront boulevard. Now to Ecuador – first Manta to dine on fresh seafood, then Guayaquil, where iguanas roam – before we arrive in Salaverry, Peru, from where we can explore the capital, Lima. Next, we reach Polynesia, stopping at Easter Island to see the famous ancient statues, the mysterious moai, then Adamstown in the Pitcairn Islands, largely populated by descendants of the 18th-century mutineers from HMS Bounty. The coral island of Raroia now comes into view, renowned for pearl farming, then Fakarava, an atoll favoured for encounters with sharks, and Rangiroa, another amazing underwater world of kaleidoscopic fish. Finally, we spy the swaying palms and cerulean waters of Papeete in Tahiti, our journey’s end.
