Papeete to Auckland

Cruise overview

Say goodbye to Papeete, capital of French Polynesia, as we sail to the heart-shaped island of Moorea, followed by Raiatea, a magical place steeped in local mythology, and honeymooner-approved Bora Bora, where we overnight. Two days at sea bring us to Pago Pago in American Samoa, which shelters in the lee of rainforest-draped mountains. Crossing the International Date Line, we reach Apia, the cultured capital of Samoa, while on the tropical island of Fiji, we stop at historic Suva, and Lautoka, known as “Sugar City”. Next up is Vanuatu, where we call at the powdery sands of Champagne Bay, the vibrant capital Port Vila, and Mystery Island, whose waters are a protected marine sanctuary. Then we embark on the paradisiacal archipelago of New Caledonia, calling at Lifou and Nouméa. Watch the world go by as we spend time at sea, bound for New Zealand’s nature-rich Bay of Islands, before disembarking in Auckland, where there are natural and cultural treasures aplenty.
