Cruise overview

Join this cruise in New York City for this island-hopping adventure over to South America. The Royal Naval Dockyard in the Bahamas is our first port of call. Once a key strategic location for the British fleet, it’s now the historic setting for exciting entertainment venues and great restaurants. Two more days at sea transport us to St. John’s in Antigua, where you can explore the beautifully preserved dockyard where Nelson sheltered his fleet. We continue to Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe, glamorous St. Barts, and San Juan, the lively capital of Puerto Rico. We then visit Basseterre in St. Kitts; Castries, Saint Lucia, with its must-see modern cathedral decorated with colorful murals; and the 18th-century Fort King George in Scarborough in Tobago. A relaxing day at sea takes us to Devil’s Island, a fascinating former penal colony in French Guiana. Two more sea days allow time to make the most of life onboard, from golf and pickleball games to the sumptuous spa, as we journey to South America. Brazil brings the beautiful beaches of Fortaleza, the coastal paradise of Maceió, Salvador de Bahia, a former Portuguese colonial capital, and Rio de Janeiro, where you have two nights to explore, from the streets of Ipanema to the playground of Copacabana Beach. Then we sail away to Ilhabela, a beautiful island off the coast known for its beaches and waterfalls. We continue to Balneário Camboriú, a lively Brazilian summer resort backdropped by verdant hills and hiking trails. After a blissful day at sea, we call at Montevideo, Uruguay’s capital, where two days give you time to explore the bustling markets, beautiful beaches, and Art Deco architecture. Our last stop is Buenos Aires, where you can enjoy taste of vibrant Argentine culture and flair – and perfect your tango.
