Our compact Nordic cruise sets sail from artsy Hamburg, Germany’s second-largest city. A day at sea enables us to relax and enjoy the onboard spa and restaurants before we arrive in Oslo, the Norwegian capital, cradled by forests and mountains at the head of a fjord. Graceful Viking ships, the Munch Art Museum, and Gustav Vigeland’s awesome sculpture collection are among the rich treasury of attractions here. Continuing on to Denmark, we arrive in Copenhagen ready to spend two days exploring the fairytale city, known for its colorful buildings, busy canals, and cozy “hygge” vibe. Soak up its cosmopolitan cool, stroll in the Tivoli Gardens, and be inspired by its world-class Design Museum, regal palaces, and stunning waterfront views.

With its well-known fish market, art galleries and Museums together with several beautiful parks including a botanical garden, this is a city with something for everyone. British visitors who remember the Swinging Sixties may like to visit the streets around Grosse Freiheit, where an unknown pop group called The Beatles gave their first public performances in various local clubs before achieving worldwide fame.
