Few other cruise destinations compare to Alaska, and there is no doubt that Celebrity Cruises offers one of the finest ways to experience it. Throughout the 2026 and 2027 seasons, Celebrity has three ships in the region: Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Solstice, and Celebrity Summit. Each vessel offers 7-night itineraries along the Inside Passage, with departures from either Seattle or Vancouver between May and September.

Cruising Alaska with Celebrity Cruises promises to be unforgettable, combining the deep fjords, pristine wilderness, and breathtaking glaciers with the refined onboard experience Celebrity is known for. Every itinerary features an array of highlights and calls to iconic ports, including Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Icy Strait Point and Wrangell, with glacier-viewing highlights such as the Hubbard Glacier and the Dawes Glacier, depending on the route you choose. If you want to venture deeper into the Alaskan interior, Celebrity also offers CruiseTour packages that extend your voyage with a guided land tour through Denali National Park, Talkeetna and Anchorage.

As a fly-cruise destination for UK guests, Alaska is straightforward to reach with connecting flights via Seattle or Vancouver. At The Cruise Line, we can help arrange your full itinerary, including flights, and every booking is fully ABTA and ATOL protected. What to expect on a Celebrity Alaska cruise

Every Celebrity Alaska cruise follows the Inside Passage, a sheltered waterway that winds through a dramatic landscape of forested islands, snow-capped peaks and tidewater glaciers. It is along this route that many of the voyage’s most memorable moments unfold, from watching humpback whales breach just metres from the ship to witnessing enormous slabs of ice calve from the face of a glacier into the sea below.

While ashore, each port offers something distinct. Juneau, Alaska’s capital, is the gateway to the Mendenhall Glacier and some of the region’s best whale-watching excursions. Ketchikan is known for its rich Tlingit heritage and the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles. Skagway transports you back to the Klondike Gold Rush era, with the option to ride the historic White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad through mountain scenery that has barely changed in over a century. At Icy Strait Point, you can explore the rainforest trails of Chichagof Island or look for brown bears fishing along the shoreline.

Onboard, Celebrity’s ships are designed to make the most of the scenery. The Magic Carpet on Celebrity Edge offers an open-air vantage point high above the water, while the Solarium and Lawn Club on Celebrity Solstice provide quieter spaces to take it all in. After a day of exploration, return to award-winning dining, live entertainment and the kind of attentive service that sets Celebrity apart.

Itineraries, seasons and booking

Celebrity offers several distinct Alaska itinerary types for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. The Hubbard Glacier route sails round-trip from Seattle or between Vancouver and Seward, with a scenic cruise past one of North America’s largest tidewater glaciers. The Dawes Glacier itinerary follows a different path through the Inside Passage, taking in the fjords of Endicott Arm before reaching the glacier itself. Northbound and southbound variants are available, sailing one-way between Vancouver and Seward, which is ideal if you want to combine your cruise with time in Anchorage or a CruiseTour to Denali.

The Alaska season runs from May to September, with peak months from June to August, when temperatures are milder and daylight hours are at their longest. May and September tend to offer lower fares and fewer crowds, though wildlife sightings remain excellent throughout the season.

For UK guests, Celebrity Alaska cruises are booked as fly-cruise packages. Direct flights from London to Seattle take around ten hours, making it one of the more accessible long-haul cruise destinations. Our Voyage Consultants can arrange flights from a range of UK airports and build a complete package around your preferred sailing, including any pre- or post-cruise hotel stays.
