Seabourn, the award-winning, ultra-luxury cruise line, has unveiled the names of its two new luxury cruise ships, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation – the first will launch in late 2016 and the second by the spring of 2018.
Both vessels will reflect the build and style of their sisters, Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn. This award-winning class of ship revolutionized luxury cruising and was an instant success with guests.
Both Seabourn Encore and Seabourn ovation will maintain the lines high ratio of space per guest, allowing for a highly personalised service by close to one member of crew for each guests onboard. They will each also feature and additional deck, newly expanded public areas, and modern design elements and innovations that Seabourn have become known for within the luxury cruise market.
The new 40, 350 GT vessels are expected to accommodate up to 604 guests each, based on double occupancy, and every suite onboard will feature a balcony.
With the additional of Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn will have the youngest and most modern ultra-luxury fleet in the cruise industry.
Adam D Tihany, hospitality design icon, has been signed on to design both vessels – drawing inspiration from the lines history and yachting heritage.
Both vessels will offer many of the lines signature experiences ashore and facilities onboard including, Marina Day, Caviar in the Surf, The Spa at Seabourn, Evening Under the Stars, and Shopping with the Chef.
Suites aboard will include the Wintergarden Suite, Signature Suite, Owner’s Suite, Penthouse Suite and the Veranda Suite – all of which will feature a private balcony.
