With an interior influenced and designed by some of Norway’s top artists, MS Nordnorge is a working cruise vessel that is at home in the water enveloping the coastal ways of Norway. She was built in Norway in 1997 and is the second ship with Hurtigruten to be named Nordnorge.

MS Nordnorge was also the main venue for NRK's "Hurtigruten - Minute by Minute". For five and a half days, or 8,040 minutes, NRK broadcasted her sailing north from Bergen to Kirkenes. 3.2 million People tuned in to watch.
