Named after the Maas River in the Netherlands, Maasdam is the fifth ship in Holland America Line's 140-year history to bear the name. At 720-feet, she is designed to carry fewer guests while providing more space for maximum comfort. Many staterooms feature commanding ocean views, and each suite has a private veranda.

Maasdam is large yet intimate, traditional yet modern and offers activities both onboard and ashore to satisfy the desires of all world travellers.

Her main dining room shares the same name with the Dutch city of Rotterdam. This venue is located on two floors with a genuine staircase and assigned seating at specific times. The Pinnacle Grill is another restaurant onboard which is certainly worthy of investigation, here you will find a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood dishes, but reservation is always required. The Lido Cafe is available for casual dining and small bites.

Maasdam Dining Options

Rotterdam Dining Room has both open seating and fixed dining (designated table and time) options available for dinner, but only open for breakfast and lunch. There is a music balcony with music being played through meals and beautiful sea views. Served in style is traditional food and a five course menu. Non-smoking room.

Pinnacle Grill small with only seating for 66 guests but the best dining are to celebrate in style or dine in a special, elegant and intimate onboard restaurant. Reservations are essential and there is a cover charge. Dishes are mainly Pacific Northwest style.

Lido Buffet – a two line self-service buffet (one side is for smokers) serves casual breakfast, lunch and dinner with open seating (except the last night of the cruise)

Lido Café – poolside grill makes fast-food items such as hamburgers and hotdogs.
